Eddie Todd
Eddie started his 40-year Law Enforcement career in November 1982 as a Military Police (MP) in the U.S. Marine Corps. In 1983, Eddie was selected to Camp Lejeune, Special Reaction Team (SRT), as the team’s Primary Sniper. Eddie exited active duty in March 1986.
In June 1986, Eddie started with the Clayton County Police Department in Metro Atlanta, Georgia. Eddie was a member of the Departmental training staff from 1988 and Public Safety Training Institute (Regional Academy) Instructor till leaving the department in 1997.

In April 1997, Eddie was a Law Enforcement Subject Matter Expert (LE-SME) with Firearms Training Systems (FATS), Inc. Eddie developed Law Enforcement Training Programs for National/International Use of Force Simulation Scenarios, was the Lead Tactics Expert, and was FATS Live Fire System’s Demonstration Shooter until departing in March 1998. In October 1997, Eddie was a guest Firearms Tactics Instructor at the Politieacademie Dutch National Police Academy.
In May 1998, Eddie was a National Training Coordinator – Use of Force Consultant with National Firearms Training, Inc., developing and Instructing Law Enforcement Use of Force training scenarios throughout the United States until departing November 1998.
December 1998, Eddie was with DynCorp Aerospace Operations (UK) Ltd., Balkans Law Enforcement Programs, assigned as a Police Monitor with the United Nations, International Police Task Force (UN- IPTF), Mission in Bosnia I Herzegovina (BiH). Eddie rose through the ranks from Academy Instructor to overseeing the UN-IPTF- BiH, Local Police Standards Section, and Local Police Field Training Officer Program, which is responsible for approximately twenty-three thousand (BiH) officers, until departing June 2001.
Eddie arrived at Ground Zero on September 13th, 2001, with Operational Security International (OSI) to train and equip the New York Police Department’s Emergency Services Unit (NYPD-ESU) with specialized Search and Rescue equipment. He assisted in the Search and Rescue and Recovery efforts.
Eddie became a Federal Air Marshal (FAM) in March 2002, assigned to the Atlanta FAM Field Office (ATL FAM FO). Eddie was chosen as one of the original Assistant Team Leaders for a newly formed Squad. In 2014, Eddie was selected as Senior Federal Air Marshal. Eddie served as International Team Leader for several missions worldwide, totaling over five and a half million miles flown. Eddie retired in June 2022.
January 2016, Eddie was a Staff Writer for Southland’s Full Throttle Magazine and authored a monthly Personal Protection Article until December 2022.
From September 2019 to July 2022, Eddie taught Personal Protection and Tactical Firearms Training to Houses of Worship- Security Details in Georgia.
In August 2023, Eddie founded T.A.K.E. Personal Protection Training & Consulting, specializing in one-on-one tailored training for Personal, Home, Business/Corporate, Healthcare, School, Faith-Based House of Worship, Travel, Law Enforcement & First Responders!
Bud Malmstrom
Bud has 45 years of Martial Arts and Defensive Tactics experience. After receiving an honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps., Bud started training in martial arts. Bud owned and operated one of the largest Ninjitsu studios in the United States, and has taught Martial Arts around the world. Simultaneously, Bud was a reserve officer for the Conyers Police Department, Conyers, Georgia from 1993-2007. Bud is a law enforcement defensive tactics, and firearms instructor, and holds many advanced survival certifications. Bud has taught Wilderness Survival to the U.S. Navy Sea, Air, And Land (SEAL) Team’s, Surviving Edge Weapon Attacks- Baton tactics to the U.S. Army Military Police (MP) in Butzbach Germany, and Advanced Man tracking to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), state and local law enforcement agencies. Bud Malmstrom is located out of the Dallas, Ft. Worth area.

William Wallace
William brings vast knowledge of Tactical Combat Casualty Care during Active shooter. Failure to treat the wounded is the leading cause of death.
William Wallace started his medical career in 1990 while a U.S. Navy Aviation Rescue Swimmer, completing the Pensacola Jr College Medic course. In 1994, William became a Forest Park (Georgia) Paramedic firefighter. In 1996, William began his Tactical Medical career assisting the Forest Park Police and as a SWAT medic as a stand-in with the Clayton County (Georgia) Fire Department. In 1997, William became a Hazmat High Angle Instructor, assigned to a Georgia Search and Rescue Task Force (GSAR) in Dalton, Georgia.
William started his Law Enforcement career in 1997 with the Cartersville (Georgia) Police Department. In 1998, William was assigned to the Drug Enforcement Administration’s High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas program (HIDTA DEA). 1999, William graduated from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, becoming a Department of Interior Archaeological Resources Protection Act (ARPA) National Park Service Ranger.
William became a Federal Air Marshal (FAM) in May 2002, assigned to the Atlanta FAM Field Office. From July 2005 until May 2020, William was assigned to the Federal Air Marshal Service Disaster Response Team as an Emergency Medical Technician. William conducted medical/ Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR) team assignments, including operations during Hurricanes Katrina and Gustav. William served as International Team Leader for several missions worldwide. William retired as Senior Federal Air Marshal in May 2021.
